Step 0: Delete cookies.
This step is to make sure that you will get tracked as a rakeback player when you sign up to UB Poker. It is not essential, but it does help to prevent any possible problems with tracking.
Step 1: Visit Ultimate Bet.

After clearing your cookies, visit the UB website using the unique rakeback link above. Make sure that you use this link rather than going directly to the website. This is to ensure that you are tracked as a rakeback player.
Step 2: Download the UB software and use the referral code EAS.
Install the Ultimate Bet software as normal. After the running the software and clicking to create an account, use the UB referral code EAS in the sign up form.
This again ensures that you are correctly tracked as signing up for a rakeback account at Ultimate Bet.
Step 3: Tell me your UB username.
UltimateBet is a little different to other rooms when it comes to rakeback, as I have to pay the rakeback to you manually. This is why I'm asking for your username at UB, whereas I do not for other rakeback rooms. Rakeback payments as far as you see them will be no different at all though.
Your email is just for verification purposes. I'm not going to spam you with any nonsense.
Step 4: Done!
You are now all set up to receive your rakeback from UltimateBet.

In case you are getting a little confused UB is just an acronym of "Ultimate Bet". I'm using both because I'm not entirely sure what the room is trying to brand the most, but either way UB and Ultimate Bet are the same room.
UB is actually the perfect alternative to Full Tilt rakeback, if not a better option for some in fact. UB ticks all the boxes of high player traffic, HEM/PT3 compatible and US friendly (see more US rakeback rooms). On top of that UB offers 30% rakeback, so in terms of rakeback poker rooms it's one of the best deals out there right now.

Ultimate Bet offers a flat 30% rakeback deal, which is the maximum amount of rakeback that you can get at UB and on the Cereus network.

Ultimate Bet uses the contributed rakeback calculation method. This is the most popular form of rakeback calculation used at poker rooms and results in you receiving rakeback based on the amount of money that you put in to the pot.For example, lets say that you have just finished playing a pot at UB and you ended up putting a total of $40 in to the pot. 5% rake will be taken from your $40, which is $2. You will then receive 30% rake back from that $2, which is 60c in rakeback for that hand.
The contributed rakeback calculation method means that you will not generate rakeback from hands that you have not actively participated in at Ultimate Bet.
- Ultimate Bet rakeback payments.

Rakeback payments are made on the 18th of the following month.
So for example, if you generate $200 worth of rakeback in the month of January, you will receive your UB rakeback on the 18th of February.
- UB bonus and rakeback.

Ultimate Bet deducts bonus money from your MGR before calculating your 30% rakeback payment.Forgive the big red "deducted" image to the right, as bonus deductions from rakeback are fairly standard. You still get the 111% up to $1,1000 bonus and rakeback, but just a little less rakeback in the first few weeks whilst your bonus clears.
To give an example of bonus deductions from rakeback at UB, let's say that you generate $400 of rake in your first month at the room (this is total rake known as "MGR", not rakeback). However, you have also earned $50 in bonus money in that first month.
Ultimate Bet will subtract this $50 amount from your $400 MGR leaving $350 in MGR. UB will then calculate your 30% rakeback from this $350 amount, leaving you with $95 rakeback + the $50 in bonus money.
Can I get rakeback at UB if I already have an account?
Unfortunately not. Furthermore, as of March 25th 2011, it's not possible to open a rakeback account at another room on this network (e.g. Absolute Poker rakeback) if you have an existing account at any room on this network.
