Carbon Poker is a revamped version of the Poker.Com room. It is one of the newest rooms on the web andl has a very high player volume because players on the Poker.Com site have been transferred into the new Carbon Poker room. The software it provides is of a very high quality and has been improved since the switch from Poker.Com to Carbon. The room offers a high range of stakes, from 2c/4c to $25/$50 in NL & PL and 10c/20c to $50/$100 in Limit. Both with suitable integers in between to suit your wallet.
A very respectable bonus offer is the 'Royal Flush' bonus, where if you make a royal flush, you will receive 100 times the big blind in the cash game you are playing. So if you are playing at the $1/$2 limit or NL table, you will receive $200 if you make a royal flush. |

The table graphics are comparable to the prima network, with this room having slightly better features. The room offers a wide range of features, from the standard four color deck to more unique features which can only be found at this room. An interesting feature is the ability to display 'smilies' which appears above your name for a brief period of time to indicate your mood or even try and frustrate your opponents. In addition I believe the most useful feature is the 'expose one card', where you can choose to show your opponent one of your cards at the showdown if your opponent folded, instead of showing both.

Carbon poker has a small to medium sized volume of players when compared to other rooms on the net. Although the room still accepts US players, it does not boost the room's traffic greatly, as most US players have settled in some bigger name rooms. Carbon Poker is part of the relatively small Merge Poker network, but there is no reason why this network cannot expand over the coming years.

Because of the smaller volume of players, there is not a large amount of bad players for you to play against. This means that the room is not exceptionally soft when compared to the bigger ones like PokerStars and PartyPoker.

Carbon Poker currently offers a live-chat service along with the standard email option. There is no phone service available at the moment, but this is usually the least popular option after email and live chat anyway. Most emails are responded to within an hour, and the waiting times to speak to an assistant on live-chat are usually short.

Carbon Poker offers a 200% sign up bonus up to $500. This bonus also included an entry into a $1000 freeroll. The sign up bonus is redeemable by generating comp points (player points). 400 comp points redeems $1 of bonus, and the bonus is paid out at $10 increments. Comp points are attained by contributing to raked pots and tournament fees but we are unsure of the exact system of rake to points ratio.
These comp points can also be collected and spent at the Carbon Poker merchandise store. The bonus expires after your first withdrawal, so there are no time limits in which you have to redeem the bonus amount.
