Pacific Poker was one of the first rooms I deposited at when I first starting playing online. I had read reviews about soft competition which had attracted me to the room, and the reviews were not wrong. The graphics leave a lot to be desired, but this will not distract you as you start raking in your first big pots. Pacific Poker is owned by 888.com, which is a very popular and well established casino, so you can be sure that your money is in safe hands.
The company that owns Pacific Poker also runs a very successful casino; CasinoOnNet. The casino is well established and provides an enjoyable alternative for frequent poker players. |

The graphics are basic but solid and clear, unlike other rooms which can be cluttered. The action is also slightly faster compared to most poker rooms on the web. The room recently experienced an overhaul in the graphics department, with the addition of avatars and a new 3D view of the table. You are now able to choose your own avatar from a list provided and also choose between 5 different table backdrops. Although the graphics have been improved, they are still a little lacking in quality when compared to some of the top rooms.
Pacific poker does not have a lot of features available to the player who likes to have information at their fingertips and have the ability to customize their playing experience. The software has improved as of late, as it now allows you to multi table and take notes on each player. |

| Pacific Poker has a strong number of players, although they have never been top of the pile when it comes to player volume. There is is no question that it is not a big room and that you won't be bumping into the same players over and over, but if you are looking for a room for the sheer volume of players, you should be looking more along the lines of PokerStars and Party Poker. |

| Pacific Poker is owned by 888.com, the most popular casino on the internet. Because of this many gamblers from the casino cross over into the poker room and essentially continue to gamble like they do in the 888 casino. This is also due to the way the bonus is structured. This creates a lot of action and a lot of easy money waiting to be picked up if you know how. If you are looking for the softest competition on the net you should look no further than Pacific Poker. |

| Pacific Poker offers the 3 key methods of contact; live-chat, phone and email. The live-chat is one of the most popular customer service features available today, as it allows you to communicate one-on-one with a customer support staff member to help you quickly sort out any problems that you may be experiencing. The email service from Pacific is good, but it normally takes an hour or more before you receive a reply. |

Pacific Poker offers a 25% sign up bonus up to $100 (a $400 deposit will give the full amount). The bonus is automatic and no bonus code is needed to receive it. The bonus amount will immediately be funded to your account. However to be eligible to withdraw the bonus money, you must first wager 20 times the bonus amount. Therefore if you receive the full $100 bonus you must wager $2000 before it can be withdrawn.
