Due to the fact that PokerStars is one of the most popular online poker rooms, it makes it one of the top rooms to place your bankroll if you are looking to build it. The site offers a great range of limits to accommodate all players of varying bankrolls. All of the tables from 1c/2c up to $100/$200 receive large amounts of action.
However, the STTs receive such a high volume of players that you can be waiting for some time for an empty table to open up. All in all, the fact that this is the #1 poker room when it comes to player traffic on the internet speaks for itself.
The room is also home to a few pro players, such as Chris Moneymaker, Greg Raymer, Joe Hachem and most recently Daniel Negreanu has been added to the list. |

The graphics are effective and simple with the gameplay running at a slightly slower pace than other sites but it is barely noticeable. The site offers a very customizable table that allows you to change the theme and the card graphics, along with the ability to upload your own personal avatar. These features are very unique to pokerstars, as there are very few rooms on the net that allow you to customize the table graphics and layout as far as PokerStars allows you to. The graphics are clear and it is easy to keep up with the action at the table.

PokerStars is without question the biggest poker room on the web. It used to be that Party Poker had the biggest slice of the action, but since it closed its doors to the US all of its players migrated to PokerStars. In every PokerStars.com review you will find that every site agrees that the room has more active players than any other poker room on the net. This is due to its advertising campaigns and solid promotions that keep the players coming back from day to day.

PokerStars used to have a reputation for having tough competition, and was not the ideal place if you were looking for easy money. But since the boom in the number of players, this simply is no longer the case. The sheer volume of players means that there are thousands of poor players spread across the site, meaning there are better opportunities for the good players to make money at any of the games and levels.

PokerStars has a huge volume of players signing up to their room and playing at their tables everyday. Therefore, the room would need a large customer service department to deal with all the problems and queries that will come their way. Thankfully, PokerStars has a great support department that quickly responds to any problems with the room via email. This is a credit to the room considering the sheer volume of players that will be emailing support asking for their help and advice on a daily basis. However, there is currently no live-chat feature available, but this is forgivable considering how busy and difficult it would be to set up by PokerStars.
