The OnGame network is a popular, high traffic network that hosts a large number of poker rooms for sports betting sites.
The competition is soft, but the software could be improved.

OnGame Network Review
- High traffic poker network with soft competition.
- Holdem Manager / Poker Tracker compatible.
- Software isn't terrible, but could be improved to make it faster.
- US players not accepted and no rakeback.
OnGame is a very popular poker network that has managed to get some big poker room companies under its belt. The volume of traffic is good and the players are generally quite soft due to the fact that sports bettors migrate in to the poker rooms frequently. However, the network is let down by sluggish software that could do with an upgrade.
OnGame network traffic and competition.
The OnGame network does not receive the ridiculous amount of traffic major rooms like PokerStars and Full Tilt do, but there is still more than enough players to keep the tables busy up to some of the higher stakes games. Unless you play above $400NL, you're not going to struggle to multi-table at OnGame rooms.
As mentioned, OnGame plays host to many sports betting websites such as Tower Poker and Betsafe. This means that the sports bettors will occasionally dabble in the poker room and lose their money through a lack of good poker strategy, which can make OnGame a very profitable network to play at.
OnGame network software.
- Lots of short handed tables.
- Mac, Holdem Manager and Poker Tracker compatible.
- Client can be sluggish on older computers and generally tricky to use.
- Tables are too cluttered with information.
The OnGame software could do with improvement. It's not terrible to play on, but it does feel more sluggish and "clunky" than other poker rooms. In addition to this, the table layout is pretty cluttered, which can make multi-tabling quiet difficult at the start as you attempt to try and figure out what is going on at each table.
On the other hand, OnGame is one of the few networks that offers software that is Mac compatible as well as being compatible with major tracking programs like Holdem Manager and Poker Tracker. There is also an abundance of short handed tables at OnGame skins, which is handy if you prefer the faster games.
My favourite OnGame poker room is Tower Poker.
Tower Poker is a very supportive company that has a very impressive customer support department. They're always very friendly when you get in touch.
In addition to this, I believe that Tower has the best new player bonuses in their "Tower of Bonus" promotions, which helps to make the room impressively profitable for new players (see poker bonuses).
Tower Poker allows you to transfer your poker funds between their sportsbook and casino. This is a very nice option that not all poker rooms offer. Just be careful not to gamble too much of your hard earned winnings away at the Blackjack table.
Other good OnGame rooms.
Betsafe closely follows Tower as the next best option for an OnGame room, with PokerLoco hanging further back in 3rd.
Betsafe is pretty much equally as good as Tower Poker. However, the bonuses on offer are not quite as sweet as the ones at Tower, but they are still very close.
PokerLoco comes in at 3rd simply because I used to play there for a while and I enjoyed my stay. There isn't much of a VIP program there though and the bonus isn't as good.
