Pros and Cons
Pros
  • Sleek software
  • Good bonus
  Cons
  • Table graphics take a little getting used to
Overview 7.5/10
Absolute offers a very solid poker room that has managed to attract a good volume of players since it was established. It is not a room that stands out above others, but it does bring a classier feel to the online poker game through smooth graphics and styling. The room offers one of the higher sign up bonuses which is not too hard to clear, especially compared to the clearing requirements of rooms that offer the very high sign-up bonuses. Make sure to use the Absolute Poker referral code to be able to claim the top sign-up bonus amount available.
Software 8/10
Absolute Poker brings style to its room with a classy lobby and table color scheme. As you can see in the screenshot above, you are able to customize your avatar and upload it for other players at the table to see. The action is fluid and runs at a good pace. However, the table graphics and layout make it a little difficult to keep up with the action at first, but it becomes easier as you spend more time at the tables. It is recommended that you play at the play money tables first to fully get to grips with the software before playing for real money.
Traffic 8/10
Despite being a relatively new room, it has been able to obtain a decent number of players. The fact that room still accepts US players helps it to achieve a higher player traffic than if it did not. The room is still continuing to develop, and is regularly picking up new players on a day to day basis.
Competition 7/10
There are enough bad players at Absolute to make it a profitable room for the intermediate players, but the competition is not as soft as some other rooms such as Pacific Poker and PokerStars. The competition is softest at the lower limits, but the play is generally a lot tighter at the mid and and high stakes games.
Support 7/10
The Absolute Poker customer support is well structured, and replies promptly to all queries received via email. There is currently no phone or live-chat service, which means that the room is a little lacking in the support department. However, there is a useful FAQ available on the site that should help to address the most common problems that players may encounter.
Bonus 7/10

Absolute offers a 100% up to $500 first time deposit bonus. Use the code 'POKERBANK' when prompted to claim this bonus. After sign up, the bonus amount will be placed in a pending account where it will be released in $10 increments for every 75 player points accumulated. You receive 1 point for a raked pot of over $0.50 and for every $1 of tournament fees.
